Well, I'm finally all moved out of the old apartment. Thank god. We started Friday night. Sean and I loaded up the trailer full and then I went to the Gigolos show. I got up when my dad called me at 9am and told me he was sitting outside on my deck and that I should wake up. Damn him. He went and got the trailer for me (we parked it back out at the barn) and we loaded the truck bed full of stuff. We got the keys to the new apt a bit after 10 and Tiff, me, Sean, and my parents unloaded the first trailer load into the apartment. We then started packing it back up again. Finally, Johnny, Peggy and Bob showed up and we did some heavy duty loading of heavy stuff. Ferris showed up and helped unload all the heavy stuff. Dad took the trailer back after that and we were done by about 2 or so. It was a long damn day. I then hurried and showered and stuff and went to Omaha and proceeded to get absolutely plastered on red beers. Ugh. I don't even want to think of how many calories I took in that night. But I barely ate all day so that made up for it. Ended up driving home after I sobered up a bit. It was a fun night. This guy, Brian, drove from Iowa City to see me and we danced and stuff all night. It was good times. The drive home was long but fine. Didn't get to bed till damn near 4 am though. Ow. Got up at like 11 on Sunday morning. That hurt. We then started moving more little crap and cleaning. Luckily, Kristi came by and took over the cleaning in her awesome A.D.D. style so that Sean and I could pack and load stuff into the new place. My mom and Tiff showed up and took over the cleaning when Kristi left. By about 4:30 or so we were finally done cleaning and stuff and I think Sean and I finally gave it the last look over at about 5 or 5:30. I crashed for a couple hours and then we did some rearranging. I think my room is going to look cool. I dig it!!!!

Anyways. That's all the news I have for now. If anyone wants to give me suggestions for how to organize my living room without wasting an incredible amount of space, please shout them my way!!!!!

Well kiddos, I've been in this apartment for a year now, so it's that time again. Yup. Moving. You all should know that probably though. If not, I'm moving into a 3 bedroom apartment in my same apartment complex. I'll be living with Sean and Kristi (yay free cable and internet and DVR!!!!!).

I'll be getting the keys to the new apartment at 10:30 on this Saturday (May 9th). I would be ever so grateful if anyone and everyone would help me out. It'll be a really fast and pretty easy move since I'm just schlepping all my stuff out the deck door and around the block and into the new apartment. Any one that helps me out will be fed and there will be lots of beer and water to help cure our hangovers from the Tijuana Gigolos cd release party on Friday. If anyone is bored (Thanks Tiff!) and wants to help me pack this week, gimme a call and you are welcome to come over!!!!

I mostly need people to help me out on Saturday though, since I need to be completely moved out on Saturday in a few hours so that I can start cleaning and hand in my keys to the old apt on Monday. Thank you in advance guys. Please let me know if you can help me. I'll be eternally grateful (again).
